Who we are
This website is operated by Hunters and Skipper LLC FZ, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Hunters and Skipper", "we"). For any question about this notice or your information, write to us through the Contact page.
What we collect
When you contact us or submit a profile we collect the details you choose to give us, such as your name, role, organisation, contact details, the content of your message and, for candidates, your CV and career information.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Like any website, our hosting server keeps a short technical record of visits, such as the address of the device and the page requested, to keep the site secure and working. If we add visitor measurement in future, it will be privacy focused, will not identify you, and this notice will be updated first.
Why we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to consider you for current and future leadership appointments where you have asked us to, to deliver services a client has engaged us for, and to meet our legal obligations.
We rely on your consent, on steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, and on our legitimate interest in running a professional search practice. Every assessment of a candidate is made by people; no decision about you is made by software alone.
Who sees it
Your information is seen only by the Hunters and Skipper team and by carefully selected service providers who host our systems. If you ask to be considered for the Leadership Vanguard, we prepare an anonymised profile with you, and it is shared with approved subscribers only after you agree to it; your identity is disclosed only with your written consent for each opportunity. A candidate profile is shared with a client only with the candidate's consent for that specific opportunity.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and for up to twenty four months afterwards. Candidate profiles are reviewed at least every thirty six months and deleted where they are no longer needed or on request.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and, where relevant, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, you may ask to access, correct, move or delete your information, or to withdraw consent. Write to us through the Contact page and we will respond within thirty days.
Security and transfers
We protect information with access controls, and this website uses an encrypted connection. Because we work across several countries, your information may be processed outside the country in which you are based, with safeguards appropriate to the law that applies.
